Rule clarifications:
Your squirrels can help pay for the cost of the Squirrel King. Exhaust one of your squirrels to pay for 1 stamina.
You can combine squirrels and stamina in any way to pay for the cost.
You can not exhaust more than 13 of your squirrels.
If you play the Squirrel King from the Island mat you can not exhaust squirrels to pay for the island cost.
If you play the Squirrel King from the Island you will reveal a new Island card before you gain one coin for each card on the island.
You do not activate the Squirrel Kings ability even if you play it from the Island.
Whenever you play a card from the Island, you have to stash a card from your hand before you resolve the play effect of the card you played.
If you don’t have any card in hand when you play a card from the Island, you fail to stash a card and nothing happens.
You have to stash a card from your hand whenever you play a card from the Island.
You choose which card you stash from your hand.
You can never exhaust the Squirrel King, even if another player plays a SHOVEL or in order to gather a nut when you are asleep.
The Squirrel King is a Royal Squirrel and does not count as any other squirrel tribe.
