Rule clarifications:
Peeking at your stashed cards mean that you look at what they are.
You may choose not to draw any of them, but then you won’t gain 1 Nut.
If you play TWINWATCH and stash two cards from your hand you still only gain 1 Nut.
If however you play a MENTOR or CHIEF OF POLICE and exhaust two squirrels that both stash at least one card, you would gain 2 Nuts since there is more than one instance of stash.
