Rule clarifications:
You can activate Chief of Police’s ability with its play effect.
You first choose which squirrels to exhaust, and exhaust them, before activating their Play Effects.
If your stamina bar is full you will gain nuts instead of stamina and thus not active Chief of Police’s ability.
Chief of Police’s ability does not activate when you gain Stamina in the Morning Phase.
If you would play a card that makes you gain stamina more than one time you will gain 1 Nut for each instance you gain a stamina.
For example if you play a MENTOR or when you play Chief of Police itself and exhaust two squirrels that both makes you gain stamina, you would gain 2 Nuts since there is more than one instance of drawing cards.
